Policies of KDR Unlimited Lodging
Absolutely No Open Fires in the Black Hills National Forest-This includes all the cabins located on Terry Peak, Deer Mtn., Lead, Deadwood, Galena, Spearfish Canyon
Reservations: Reservations can be made via phone or email. Contact Us
Check In Time/Check Out Time: Check In: 4:00 pm Check Out: 10:00 am, unless arrangements have been made with the office prior to arrival. Arrangements will be made prior to your arrival for keys to the cabin/ lock boxes ect.
Rates: Rates do not include sales tax or cleaning fee's(All cabins have sales tax and cleaning fees). Rates are in US Funds.
Cleaning Fee's: Cleaning Fees vary per cabin. This is a one time charge. Departure Cleaning Fee's vary depending on the cabin and lodge, these will be quoted at the time the reservation is made.
Holiday Rates: Holiday rates apply for; Christmas week through New Year's Holiday, July 4th holiday, Martin Lutheran King's weekend, Labor Day & Memorial Day weekend, President's Day Weekend, Thanksgiving weekend. If these dates change they will be posted here.
Deposits: Deposits are normally equal to one night's stay with the exception of reservations made for Sturgis Rally accommodations. The deposit during rally is $500. The deposit are refunded and mailed back as long as there are no damages to the cabin. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations.
Cancellations: In lieu of monetary refunds for cancellations you may reschedule your stay excluding Holidays and Rally. If this is a concern of yours you may want to check into travel insurance-there are lots of travel insurance options available and are not very costly. Please do not think that we can hold the cabin for you for an extended amount of time and cancel at the last minute-this would be unfair to the owner as it could cost them a rental if it cannot be booked. Travel Insurance is the way to go if you think you might have an unforeseen circumstance.
Minimum Stays: There is a two-three night minimum stay required.
Absolutely NO PETS & NO SMOKING are allowed in the cabins or lodges at any time. Pets only allowed in the Pet Friendly cabins- Shangri Lodge, Deer Mtn Chalet, Nature's Nook
Dog Friendly Cabins. Deer Mtn Chalet, Secret Garden & Shangri Lodge. Additional Fee.
Extra Person Charge: There is a $25 extra per person charge per night beyond the number of people on the reservation. Rally extra person charge varies depending on the property, please ask during the reservation process.
Hot Tubs: Very rarely will a hot tub be shut down or under maintenance during your stay. If the hot tub is down because of unforeseen circumstances there are no refunds on your rental.
A/C or Satellite TV: If it is not listed on the property page it does not have it.
Unforeseen Circumstances: Just like your own home anything can happen, if there are problems with satellite tv, hot tub, washer-dryer, really could name everything but you get the jest. If there are problems will get it repaired as soon as possible but it may not be the same day something breaks. This is not a common problem but if it should happen there are no refunds or comps because of it-this is not something that can be controlled. Everything in the cabin is maintained year round but as with your own appliances ect. when something decides to break down it is going to be an inconvenience and if this happens will do everything possible to get up and working as soon as possible.
Lost or unreturned Keys: There is a $25 charge for lost keys or keys not returned the day of your departure.
Items Left Behind: Items left behind and requested to be mailed are subject to the COD charges and a service charge for time and packaging material.
Age Requirements: You must be at least 21 years of age to rent cabins.
